Located on the shore of Lake Michigan seven miles south of the Chicago Loop. The official boundaries are 51st St/Hyde Park Blvd on the north, the Midway Plaisance (between 59th & 60th St.) on the south, Washington Park on the west and Lake Michigan on the east.
Hyde Park is home to the infamous University of Chicago, the Museum of Science & Industry, several beautiful, landmark homes built by the great architect-Frank Lloyd Wright, Whole Foods/Amazon, great condo living both on the Lake and throughout the community.
