Olympia Fields is a village in the county of Cook in Illinois adjacent to the historical village of Flossmoor and only minutes from Downtown Chicago. With a population of nearly 5000 it is one of the wealthiest and best educated communities in the Southland within the United States. Many of the custom-built homes in this village were designed by award winning nationally known architects-Mies van der Rohe, & H.P. Davis to name a few. This historical village is home to the magnificent 72-hole golf course and country club chartered in 1915 as Olympia Fields Country Club. The clubhouse which was built in 1924 in currently on the National Register of Historic Places. The golf course is deemed one of the finest in the nation. It has been home to the PGA Championships, US Open, US Senior Open, Western Open, Women's PGA Championship and most recently the 2020 BMW Championship. Village is home to Franciscan Health Hospital and great restaurants, field houses, parks, walking trails and so much more.
